Bacchus is the Roman God of wine, religious ecstasy, revelry and celebration, associated the Greek Dionysus. He is not just the God of wine, but the God of ecstatic celebration, feasts and festivals, parades, all sorts of revelry. A kitchen witch who uses wine liberally in her cooking, or who brews her own spirits and/or who loves nothing more than throwing a party to remember may embrace Bacchus as a patron or tutelary deity.
